The beach-permit reality
Makena Cove ceremonies run under the state Wiki permit: roughly 20 people including vendors, no arches or chairs, two hours. The honest plan — and the one Maui planners will give you — is the ceremony on the sand and the reception on private ground. That reception is our job.
The numbers
From $150 a guest in food lines plus staffing at $55/$75 hourlys; 20% service and GET up to 4.7120% on their own lines; no venue F&B minimum because the venue is yours. A full Mākena week — welcome dinner through recovery brunch — writes as one quote.

Yes — that is exactly the venue’s designed capacity, and the kitchen supports plated coursing for it. Staffing runs about four servers plus a sous at the published hourlys.
