What a Stay Chef week costs, worked out.
Stay Chef runs from $1,050 a day plus groceries at cost with receipts. A seven-day week starts at $7,350 in chef labor — this page shows what that buys and what sits around it.
What the day rate buys
- A full day of chef labor in your kitchen — breakfast through dinner
- Menu planning across the week, shopping, cooking, service, cleanup
- Provisioning runs and beach-day coolers inside the rhythm
- Groceries billed at cost with receipts — never marked up
The worked week
Seven days at $1,050 is $7,350. Add groceries at cost — a week for a family of eight typically tracks what the same family would spend splitting restaurant meals, minus the reservations. Then 20% service and GET on their own lines. The written quote shows all of it before a dollar moves.
What is not in the day rate
Staffing beyond the chef (servers, sous) quotes at the published $55/$75 hourlys. Travel zones apply outside the base corridors — Upcountry from $75 a day, Pāʻia and Haʻikū quoted at inquiry. And there is no published weekly discount: the quote is the total, not the opening bid.
The honest comparison
The only other published multi-day chef pricing on Maui runs $179–$300+ per person per day. For a group of eight, that math crosses $1,050 quickly — the day rate is priced for the group, not the seat.

It tracks your menus and headcount at island prices, billed at cost with receipts. The quote estimates the range honestly and the receipts close it exactly.
Yes — any run of days works, priced at the same day rate. The written quote reflects exactly the days you book.
