Published prices
The peak calendar: when Maui books, and how it prices.
Maui’s year has real peaks, and our calendar honors them honestly: any holiday surcharge is published here ahead of the season, not discovered in a quote.
The year in demand
- December 22 – January 1 — the compressed villa week; books months out
- December – April — peak season; two-to-four-week lead times
- December – May — whale season; peak villa occupancy
- May, July, October — Hawaiʻi’s wedding-heavy months
- April – June, September – November — shoulder value; planners’ pick: September, March, May
The surcharge policy
Holiday surcharges, when they apply, are published on this page each Q3–Q4 before the season opens. The written quote then reflects the published calendar — nothing invented per customer, nothing buried per line.
Booking the peaks
Peak dates are held by the written quote and the 50% deposit — an inquiry alone holds nothing. If your week is December or a wedding-month Saturday, the time to write is now.
Questions, answered
When a surcharge applies it is published here in advance and shown as its own line. The base rate card — $150–$250 a guest, $1,050 day rate — does not change seasonally.
Shoulder months — April to June and September to November — pair the island’s best availability with its calmest booking calendar. Wedding planners’ consensus picks are September, March, and May.
