A disclosed service charge covering service operations — always on its own line, never labeled a gratuity. Gratuity for exceptional work is voluntary and separate.
A 50% deposit against a written quote. The quote is the confirmed total, and the deposit is what holds the calendar — an inquiry alone does not.
Cancellation tiers are proposed pending counsel review: 28+ days partial refund, 14–28 days deposit retained, under 7 days full balance, force-majeure reschedules rather than forfeits. Your quote states the current terms.
If it has a real kitchen, yes — full range, real refrigerator, counter space. Hotel rooms and kitchenettes are declined. A photo with your inquiry gets a straight answer.
Mention-only: the two-plus-hour drive each way makes honest pricing difficult, so Hāna requests are quoted reluctantly or declined. We would rather say no than charge a number we cannot defend.
Yes — the eleven-flag dietary system with separate allergen prep is standard. Flagged plates course in parallel so nobody eats a lesser meal.
We do not sell alcohol. Client-supplied or licensed bartending referral, with the compliant setup stated in your written quote — Maui County’s rules are the state’s most specific.
