Private chef Pāʻia and the North Shore.
The North Shore is different country: greener, wetter, forty-five to sixty minutes from the Wailea base. Pāʻia and Haʻikū are quoted at inquiry — not because we do not serve them, but because the drive and provisioning pattern deserves an honest line in the quote.
Why “quoted at inquiry”
A North Shore event means shopping in Kahului, an hour of drive each way, and weather that changes faster than the leeward side’s. Rather than hide that in a fee, the written quote names it: the travel line, the provisioning plan, the rain backup.
Haiku Mill and the vendor lists
Haiku Mill runs a preferred-vendor list with a $650 outside-vendor fee — we tell you that before you sign, and we work with your planner on the list. The venue’s overgrown-ruin garden is worth every logistic.
Questions, answered
They are quoted at inquiry rather than carrying a flat published line — the drive and provisioning pattern varies by event. The written quote names the real number and the reason.
Yes, through the venue’s vendor-list process with your planner — including the $650 outside-vendor fee if we are not yet on it, stated up front rather than discovered later.
