How a chef joins the Maui roster.
The roster is the product, so the gate matters. Every Maui chef passes the same checks before their first myCHEF service.
The gate
- Professional kitchen background — restaurant or hotel pedigree, verified
- A paid trial service observed by the network
- Food-safety discipline: cold chain, allergen protocol, cleanup standard
- The service temperament — your villa is someone’s home, not a stage
The standard they work under
Published rates, itemized fees, groceries at cost with receipts, and the written-quote discipline. A chef who cannot work honestly inside those rules does not work here, however talented.
What we don’t do
We don’t publish invented chef bios or stock “team” portraits. The roster is real; its members are introduced by name when your quote is written, not used as marketing cardboard before it.
For chefs
Maui chefs who plate at restaurant level and like the discipline: the partner channel is open. Paid trials, published terms, and a book of business that does not require you to run a marketing site.

The button is not “Book now.” You tell us the table; we send a written quote — and that quote is the confirmed total.
